What information do we collect?
Our overriding policy is to collect as little personal data as possible and to keep personal data for as short a time as possible.
On www.lexikon.pl, we may collect your ip address and pages you visit. If you contact us then we will collect the data you send us which may include your contact details, namely, your name, telephone number and email address. However, we do not need all of your contact details, either your telephone number or your email address is enough. We do not need your surname. Your first name is enough.
How do we use your personal data?
When you use our website, we will record your ip address and the pages that you visit. The purpose for recording and storing your ip address is to detect and prevent fraud, attacks, abuse or unauthorized access. Your ip address will be removed from our systems within three months of your visit.
If you contact us to make an enquiry regarding English Lessons or any other enquiry then we will process and store the information that you send us for the purpose of contacting you. In particular, we ask you to give us your name, telephone number and email address. This information will be removed from our systems within three months of your visit.
However, it is not necessary to give us any of your personal data if you want to contact us to make an enquiry. You can simply make a telephone call. Your telephone number will not be processed or stored unless you decide to make a reservation for a lesson.
What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
We collect and store personal data, namely your ip address, in our server logs for the limited and legitimate purpose of detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized system access, and ensuring the security of our systems.
We collect and store your personal data, namely your name, email address and telephone number, as this processing is necessary to make a reservation for the first English lesson for you at your request.
Do we share your personal data?
No, we do not share any of your personal data with any third parties. Personal data may be stored on secure servers at our internet hosting companies who are all GDPR compliant.
Where is your personal data stored?
All personal data is stored on safe and secure servers in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
How do we store your data?
We store your data in secure databases and we access your data over secure data transmissions lines with SSH security. You can check our SSL certificate by looking at the address line of your browser.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
Your ip address: for security purposes, we may keep your ip address for up to three months.
Your contact details: your name, email address and telephone number. We keep your contact details for as short as possible, at most up to three months. For example, if you contact us by email on 22 April then we will try to contact you by telephone or email in April or at the beginning of May at the latest. If you do not decide to come for a lesson then your data will be removed from our systems in June at the latest. So your data may be on our systems for up to three months at the most, most likely for about six to eight weeks.
Your rights in relation to your personal data
